Carla

Carla Tucker is our head Licensed Veterinary Technician here at Oakwood Animal Hospital. She is a 2003 graduate of Michigan State University’s Veterinary Technology program. What she finds most rewarding about her career is caring for your hospitalized pets. In her spare time she enjoys canning, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Melanie A., LVT

Melanie Accardo is a Licensed Veterinary Technician here at Oakwood Animal Hospital. She is a graduate of Baker College Veterinary Technology program. In Melanie’s free time she enjoys riding horses and hanging out with her dog (Oden).

Victoria D., LVT

Victoria is a Licensed Veterinary Technician here at Oakwood Animal Hospital. She is originally from Akron, Ohio where she studied at the University of Akron and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Victoria then went on to receive her Associates in Veterinary Technology from Stautzenberger College. She moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan in April 2017 and took a job at Oakwood Animal Hospital. She loves assisting in dental cleanings and laboratory work.

Heidi Robertson is our Hospital Manager/Receptionist at Oakwood Animal Hospital. She loves being part of a team who strives to provide excellent medical care for each patient and enjoys interacting with our wonderful clients. In her free time Heidi enjoys camping, spending time with family and cuddling with her 3 dogs (Jax, Bella and Dylan).

Terri H.

Terri

Terri is one of our Receptionist at Oakwood. She spent 20 years doing dentals with Dr. Eberhard. What she most enjoys is working with our great clients and their beloved pets. She feels she makes a difference. In Terri’s free time she enjoys being in the outdoors as much as possible, whether it is hiking with her dogs (Taya and Kenzie) or riding her horse (Remi). She also stays busy training her two border collie mixes tricks and obedience. Her cat Sienna is trained to relax, she does this very well.

Debbie Whitney is one of our Receptionist at Oakwood Animal Hospital. She enjoys spending time with our furry clients. Debbie owns 5 cats and 2 guinea pigs.

Kori Junge is one of the receptionist/assistants at Oakwood Animal Hospital. She enjoys all of our patients, but especially the kitties that come to visit. She treats every patient as though they are her own. You will always see her in a blue scrub top, because that's her favorite color!

Corinne is a Veterinary Assistant at Oakwood Animal Hospital. She is a Biology and Environmental Sustainability student at WMU and will be graduating in summer 2018 with hopes of continuing her education in the Veterinarian medicine field. During Corinne’s free time she loves to hike, kayak and surround herself with all of her beloved pets. Corinne has four dogs, three cats, and 12 chickens! Talk about an animal lover!

Tayler Doubblestein is one of our Veterinary Assistants at Oakwood Animal Hospital. She loves all animals, but connects the best with dogs. Tayler is currently a student at WMU studying Biomedical Sciences in hopes of attending Veterinary School. She hopes to specialize in Orthopedic Surgery and/or work with Exotic Animals. In her free time she loves to spend time with her 2 main men Opie (her boxer/husky mix) and Oscar (her maine coon mix).

Brook V.

Brook VanBruggen is one of the Veterinary Assistants at Oakwood Animal Hospital. She will soon be graduating from WMU with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Brook loves to come home to her 2 feline kids (Leo and Milo) and unwind with some Netflix. She loves mud runs and hopes to complete a Tough Mudder in 2018.

Gabriella Soave is one of our Veterinary Assistants at Oakwood Animal Hospital. Her favorite thing to do outside of school is coming to work and learning new things. Gabi is a freshman at WMU in the bio-med/pre-vet program. Her favorite Hobbies include drawing and riding her horse. She enjoys spending time with her 2 guinea pigs (Eloise and Pep) and her cat Mia.
